The official Roblox display name currently includes [New Merchant Units], which confirms that Merchant units are an active Five Nights TD 2 update theme. It does not publish the names, inventory, rotation time, prices, passives, or limited status. Those details must be read in the current lobby before you spend.
Treat the Merchant as a rotating decision screen, not a permanent catalog. A good purchase fills a real roster gap at a price that does not block a more important summon, evolution, enchantment, event, or Hero objective. A new offer can be exciting without being the right account upgrade.
Merchant check card
Offer identity
Record the exact unit name, normal or Shiny form, rarity, evolution or skin state, and quantity.
Status: Must match the live panel.
Price and currency
Record the full price, currency icon and name, purchase limit, and whether the resource is permanent or event-specific.

Rotation
Record the visible remaining time and whether the timer appears global, server-specific, daily, weekly, or event-bound.
Status: Needs current-client testing.
Role
Read placement cost, upgrade path, attack type, passive, and best mode before buying.
Status: Compare the current card, not an old showcase.
Find and read the current Merchant
Join through the verified Roblox experience and let lobby data load. Look for the Merchant label, shop area, or update signage in the current hub. Lobby layout can change, so follow the visible navigation rather than an old screenshot. If the new stock is missing after an update, rejoin a fresh public server once.
Open the offer and inspect every information panel. Do not infer a unit’s role from artwork. Check whether it deals damage, controls enemies, buffs allies, creates economy, summons helpers, or mixes roles. Read placement limit and total upgrade commitment. A strong late form may be difficult to use in the content you currently farm.
Confirm whether the displayed object is a unit, Present, bundle, skin, material, or other item. If a Present is sold, read its possible reward panel and do not describe the featured image as guaranteed unless the interface says it is.
Compare the purchase with your roster
Name the gap first. If Story leaks before an expensive carry can be placed, compare the offer with current starter options. If long runs lack cash, compare it with economy. If bosses survive, look for focused damage or useful support. If the team already performs the same job, the purchase may be collection rather than progression.
Run the active team without changing anything and record its common failure. Then estimate what the Merchant unit must do to solve that failure. If the unit’s defining passive, final upgrade, or current stats are unclear, wait for a live demonstration or testable copy rather than spending on reputation.
Keep account opportunity cost visible. Merchant currency can sometimes overlap with quests, events, summons, crafting, or other offers. Reserve enough for the next confirmed goal. A rotation timer is information, not a command to empty the wallet.
Buy safely
Before confirming, re-read the unit name, variant, price, quantity, limit, and timer. Check whether the purchase is refundable, repeatable, or account-bound. Roblox purchases involving Robux should use the platform’s own confirmation surface; never pay through a link or person claiming to reserve stock.
After purchase, confirm the item in inventory before repeating the transaction. If it is a unit, lock the copy when available and test it at low investment. If it is a Present or bundle, inspect the contained or possible rewards before opening. Save a screenshot of the offer and result if the item does not arrive.
Avoid third-party “Merchant snipers,” account login tools, scripts, or extensions. Nobody needs a password, cookie, email code, recovery code, device approval, or remote control to notify you about a public lobby shop.
Test a Merchant unit
Use a familiar Story night. Compare initial placement, first useful upgrade, attack area, targeting, passive activation, and cash remaining with the unit currently filling that role. Keep level, enchantment, support, and difficulty as equal as possible.
Then test the mode that motivated the purchase. Endless reveals scaling and economy payback. Boss Raids reveal boss pressure and coordination. Short Story shows whether an expensive unit comes online quickly enough. Record useful outcomes rather than only total damage.
Do not immediately reroll enchantments or consume evolution materials. First confirm that the unit belongs in the active team. If it is a tradeable item, wait for market prices to settle before assuming its launch-week asking price is stable.
Rotation questions
Which Merchant units are available now?
The official title confirms new Merchant units as a theme, but the current inventory was not published in the official Roblox record. Read the live Merchant panel for the names and forms in your server.
How often does the Merchant rotate?
Use the visible timer. Public material used here does not establish one permanent rotation schedule, and event shops can follow different rules.
Are Merchant units limited?
Only treat an offer as limited when the current panel or creator-owned notice gives an end condition. A rotating slot does not necessarily mean the unit can never return.
Should I buy a Shiny Merchant offer?
Separate collector demand from combat power. Current public sources disagree about Shiny gameplay effects, so read the live card and use the Shiny guide before paying a premium.
What still needs live verification
Merchant existence and the current new-unit focus are officially supported. Stock, unit names, prices, currencies, timers, purchase limits, forms, stats, passives, availability, return schedule, tradeability, and value must be verified in the current client.
